I created WB Consults because I saw a gap—families, businesses, and communities struggling to resolve conflict without the tools, trust, or support to move forward. After serving over two decades in the U.S. Army and leading in the Arizona Legislature, I understood firsthand how critical clear communication, structured resolution, and principled leadership are in the most difficult moments. I founded WB Consults to bring that experience to the table—to offer real solutions, guided by integrity, neutrality, and a results-driven approach.
Whether it’s a family navigating divorce or a business facing internal disputes, my mission is to help people find clarity, common ground, and closure—without the high cost of litigation or broken relationships. WB Consults was built to serve, to mediate, and to help people move forward stronger.

Strategic Leader in Conflict Resolution, Policy, and Organizational Change
Walt Blackman is a nationally recognized leader in mediation, conflict management, and public policy strategy. As the CEO and founder of WB Consults LLC, he brings over 25 years of executive-level experience in high-pressure environments—from the battlefield to the state capitol to the boardroom.
A retired U.S. Army senior leader and Bronze Star recipient, Walt later served as a state legislator and chaired multiple committees focused on government reform and justice policy. His leadership is rooted in results, with a focus on high-stakes negotiations, organizational conflict, and stakeholder alignment.
Walt launched WB Consults to help businesses, nonprofits, legal teams, and public agencies resolve complex disputes, strengthen internal dynamics, and drive forward-thinking solutions. He is certified in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) at the federal level and nationally, including through the Department of Defense.
At the core of his work is a belief: resolution is not about choosing sides—it’s about creating a path forward.
